Andrew Ryan had a dream of an aquatic world that was far away from the troubled times of the 1950's, 'Rapture'. It was a paradise among paradises but something within Andrew's mind ticked and sent Rapture into a downward spiral of serial killers, mobs, child kidnappings and brain washing. His once proud New York influenced metropolis ate away at itself from the inside out. All that remains of Rapture is broken dreams and buildings, mentally insane civilians and Sophia Lamb's project, 'Little Sisters' and 'Big Daddies.'
