"Paris en Orange" takes an aerial view of Paris, from the map below, and turns it into a color blocked graphic. Softened monochromatic hues of orange soften the sharp polygons and ease the eye of the viewer. The sporadic placement of the hues hides the fact that the pattern is actually a map of Paris, and allows the viewer to see an erratic geometric print. Mixing the romantic city plan of Paris with modern color blocking along with rustic tones and tints creates a fashionable textile design can work for both apparel and interior upholstery.
