I have really been into southwestern prints and style for years and wanted to incorporate that into my project. I grew up traveling to Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and the Dakota for family vacations, and I absolutely love the scenery. I find the desert very inspiring. I also have an obsession with spaghetti westerns, in particular 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. I love Clint Eastwood. I have never been to Las Vegas, but I would love to go and I am very intrigued by the Neon Boneyard Museum right outside of Vegas. I like the idea of mixing old Vegas and the old west. The dust, dirt, rust, wood, leather, metal, and neon have interesting textures that I want to incorporate. I also like the lonely,lawless, old, ghost town mood that they create.
